Steven M. Rubin
President

Steve started his career at Blue Creek in 1976 after completing his Masters at Miami University of Ohio. During the early years of his career, Steve worked as a roustabout on service rigs, was part of pipeline crews, and performed reclamation work. Starting in 1983, Steve became a part-owner in Blue Creek, and he completed the acquisition of the remaining shares of the company in 1995.

Since that time, he has formed mutliple LLC's that have acquired royalty and working interest, pipelines, real estate acquisitions, financial investments, and an oil and gas advisory firm. Today, those investments represent ownership in over 400 wells, several miles of pipelines, and multiple well sites for future drilling operations, as well as ownership and management in retail, warehouse, and investment properties.

Steve also serves on the following boards: BBT Bank-Charleston Region-Chairman of the Board, University of Charleston, and the Charleston Area Alliance.


Patricia Tyree
Treasurer

Patricia started at Blue Creek in 1980. During her thirty-year career, she has been in charge of distribution services, tax issues, and general operations, and she has provided valuable assistance and friendship to the Blue Creek family.


Mendy White
Chief Financial Officer

Mendy graduated from Marshall University in 1990, with degrees in Business Administration and Accounting. She began her career at Blue Creek in December of 1990 and became a CPA in 1993. Mendy has responsibilities for the financial operations of Blue Creek and several other related entities.
