About Us

Blue Creek Gas began in 1954 with Joe Rubin, a pioneer in the oil and gas industry in the 1930’s, and continues today with a third generation member, our President Steve Rubin. Over the course of the years, the company has been involved in all aspects of the industry, drilling new wells, acquiring existing wells and pipelines, and providing services for other industry partners. Today the company operates several hundred wells, maintains over eighty miles of pipelines, and oversees thousands of acres of mineral interest. In addition, Blue Creek is actively acquiring mineral interest in the basin and looking for expansion opportunities.
